By coding the lessons into an audio podcast, we give listeners another avenue to access past lessons and even “subscribe” for automatic downloads of new episodes.
Lessons are saved to Google Drive as MP3 files and added weekly to an XML file that translates code into Podcast language.
This was all fine until Google shut down web hosting via Google Drive. Smart cookies they are…

Client Stones River Church
Lessons are saved directly to Google Drive as MP3 files. Publicly sharing that folder on Google Drive allows me to get a URL of the MP3 which is pasted into the XML file that is also hosted on Google Drive. The XML file is the skeleton of the podcast. The podcast is virtually hosted for free since Google Drive storage gives each user 15 GB of free storage.
By placing a link on the church’s webpage, any podcasting app can read the XML file and see the past lessons and even “subscribe” for automatic downloads of new episodes.
